Your Club is Born
After registration you land straight in onboarding. You choose your home country — Germany, England, Czechia, or Slovakia — give your team a catchy name, and baptize your stadium. Then it gets real: from up to 30 talents you select at least 23 players for your roster. Every candidate has different strengths — take your time and compare!
Aim for a balanced mix: 3 goalies, 8 defenders, 7 wingers, and 7 centers. That way you're ready for any situation.
Your First Lineup
No sooner is the last player signed than you hit the tactics board. Under Games → Lineup you set up 4 lines of 5 skaters each: center, left and right wing, left and right defense. Plus a starting goalie — your number 1 — and a backup for emergencies. Don't forget the captain: he gives your team a motivation boost.
Don't leave your lines empty! Missing players on positions give your team a noticeable penalty in matches. In a pinch the system auto-fills — but that costs line chemistry.
Here We Go!
As soon as enough teams are in your league, gameplay starts automatically. You see your matches in the calendar and can watch your team hit the ice. In the first few days not much happens — perfect to look around and fine-tune your tactics in peace.
Your country, your league
You choose one of four countries: Germany, England, Czechia or Slovakia. Your newly founded team is automatically placed into your country's national league, where it competes against other managers and system-managed bot teams. The league label always combines country, tier and group – for example Germany Liga I, Group 1. This way you always know exactly where your club stands.
Taking over a free team
Not every team in the league is actively run by a human. When a manager leaves, the club remains as an orphaned place and is initially managed by the system – in game you see such teams as "Team #ID". When starting out you can choose: either found a brand-new club or take over a free place. A takeover has its own appeal, because the club already brings an existing roster, a stadium and a small history.
Before your first match
Before the first matchday arrives, a tour of your team is worthwhile. Set your four lines, pick your starting goalie and captain, and take a look at your finances. You can already set your tactics too. Everything you do before the puck drops flows directly into the simulation of your first match – the better prepared you are, the greater your chances of a successful start.
Your team starts with players aged 18 to 20. Plan long-term: these players can grow over many seasons and become the foundation of your club.
The match rhythm
A season spans 105 days with 38 matchdays. You usually play three times a week, with regular games kicking off at 20:00. This fixed rhythm helps you organise – check your calendar regularly and plan training, lineup and finances around the matchdays.
Your first priorities
After founding your club you should first set your lineup, roughly configure your tactics and take a look at your finances. Then investing in your infrastructure is worthwhile: the training center and stadium lay the foundation for long-term success. Your team starts with a complete roster and a starting budget – use both wisely.
