The point system is simple and fair: a clear win in regulation time gives you 3 points, the loser gets nothing. If the game goes to overtime or shootout, the winner gets 2 points and the loser still gets 1 consolation point. That way the system rewards even close losses — in the standings, that one point can be worth gold.

When tied on points, tiebreakers are applied in order: better goal difference, more goals scored, more total wins, and finally regulation wins (without OT/SO). Only if all of those are equal does the alphabet decide. In 99 % of cases, the first criteria are enough.

38 matchdays, everyone against everyone twice — once at home, once away. Normally you play three times a week. Face-off is at 8:00 PM. The schedule is fixed: each matchday brings a new duel. You see your upcoming matches in the calendar and can prepare specifically.

Your team plays in a national league made up of your country, the tier and the group. Liga I is the highest tier, followed by Liga II, Liga III and so on. With each lower tier the number of groups grows. Promotion to a higher tier and relegation to a lower group are central goals of every season.

Besides the table, every league offers extensive statistics: goals, assists, points, plus/minus and more – split by players and teams. These numbers help you place your own squad and recognise the strengths and weaknesses of the competition. Before a duel, a look at your opponent's statistics is worthwhile.

The table decides promotion and relegation at the end of the season. The best teams play for the title, the teams at the bottom fight for survival. The last four are relegated directly, the places above them must go into relegation. A single point can make the difference at the end – fight for every point until the last matchday.

Above and below your league there are further tiers. Liga I is the highest, followed by Liga II and Liga III. Every tier consists of several groups that combine country, tier and group number. Promotion to the next tier is the long-term goal – it requires consistently good work over several seasons.
